Owls Nest of Ramsey Canyon

Get away and relax in your comfortable 140 sq.ft. room cabin in the heart of Ramsey Canyon!  Nestled in a unique region called the "Sky Islands", there is a unique set of flora and fauna that exists here.  Coues deer, Goulds turkey, coatimundi, javelina, ringtail cats, gray fox, along with an amazing amount of birds are sure to delight even the most experienced traveler!  Known as the Hummingbird Capital of the nation, you can see up to 12 species here at this unique and tranquil getaway.  Click Here to Watch a video tour.   Add a propane fire pit at check out and enjoy those chilly mornings/evenings on your patio.

The Owls Nest comes with a microwave, minifridge and electric fireplace.  The cabin is attached to a building used strictly for storage, no other guests are attached.  The unit DOES NOT have indoor plumbing and the regular room rate of $75 does not include linens, pillows or towels, choose the $25 add-on at checkout and your room Will include linens, pillows, hand towels, face clothes, coffee and snacks.  There is an outdoor portable restroom as well as running water/wash up area right outside the unit.    Add a propane fire pit at checkout and enjoy those chilly nights or your morning coffee relaxing on the patio.

Guests will have access to our Bird Garden and nature trails with their nightly rental.  The world renowned Ramsey Canyon Preserve is only 1/4 mile up the road and has access to trails within the Coronado National Forest.

Ramsey Canyon is popular for birding, hiking and biking.  Even though it's a popular location for visitors, the wildlife is plentiful and very relaxed.  You will often find deer walking down the middle of the road and large groups of turkey crossing.  There are very few houses around so the setting within the property is quiet and peaceful.

Please make sure you read over the description as this unit HAS NO INDOOR PLUMBING.  The unit has access to an outdoor portable restroom and running water, NO SHOWER.  Due to the sensitive nature of the environment and wildlife, NO FIRES, ANIMALS  or children under the age of 15 are allowed.  NO outside guests are permitted at this unit.  There is no cooking or campfires allowed outside the unit and NO portable cookstoves inside.  Thank You for your interest, we look forward to your stay!
