Take it easy and get away to your comfortable and relaxing one room unit in the woods of Ramsey Canyon.  Nestled in a unique region called the "sky islands", there is a set of unique flora and fauna that exists here.  Coues deer, Goulds turkey, coatimundi, javelina, ringtail cats, along with an amazing amount of birds are sure to delight!!  Known as the Hummingbird Capital of the nation, you can see up to 12 species here at this unique and tranquil getaway.  Watch a video tour.

Our Owls Nest unit is approx.  140 sq. ft. featuring a queen bed, table, streaming tv, microwave, minifridge and electric fireplace.  Wifi is available though NO GUARANTEE.  The unit does not have a dedicated router however you can usually pickup the signal from a nearby unit.  The unit is attached to a building used strictly for storage, no other guests are attached.  The unit DOES NOT have indoor plumbing.  There is an outdoor portable restroom as well as running water just outside the unit. 

Guests will have access to our bird garden and nature trails included in their nightly rental.  The world renowned Ramsey Canyon Preserve is only 1/4 mile up the road and has access to trails within the national forest.

Ramsey Canyon is popular for birders hikers and bikers. Even though it's a popular location for visitors, the wildlife is plentiful.  You will often find deer walking down the middle of the road and large groups of turkey crossing.  There are very few houses around so the setting within the property is quiet and peaceful.

Please make sure you read over the description as this unit HAS NO INDOOR PLUMBING.  Access to an outdoor portable restroom and running water NO SHOWER.  NO FIRES OR ANIMALS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED.
